Jorge Rufat-Latre
Jorge Rufat-Latre is a Director at Strategos and works with his clients to create winning strategies and opportunities. He has designed and established innovation systems and processes at several Fortune 100 corporations across many industries, consumer packaged goods, retail, financial services, automotive, high technology, specialty chemicals, and energy. He is an expert on systematic innovation and speaks to audiences around the world about strategy, strategy-making, and innovation as an organizational capability.
A deep technical background: eight years at NASA as an engineer; pioneering organizational learning work with Peter Senge; and fifteen years of innovation consulting across many industries and countries give Jorge a unique perspective on how to create competitive advantage today. Originally from Spain, Jorge moved to the US inspired by dreams of spaceflight; he continues exploring new frontiers in many industries, including aerospace, specialty chemicals, oil and gas exploration and production, automotive, information technology, software, financial services, media, market research, consumer packaged goods, toys, and retail.
He holds an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT, a MSEE from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a Diplôme dIngénieur Génie Electrique from INSA (National Institute of Applied Sciences, France). He is a commercial pilot, flight instructor, and ultrarunner.
