Miguel Cardoso Pinto
A Principal in Strategos' Iberian office, Miguel has over ten years of professional experience. With a background in consultancy and also in the front line of different industries, Miguel has been an important player within the organisations he worked for, where he played a part in a broad range of projects from setting high-level strategic direction and conducting enterprise-wide reorganizations to redesigning core processes. Over the years, Miguel has worked in Portugal and Spain.
Prior to joining Strategos, Miguel worked in Optimus, part of the Sonaecom group, where he developed several skills and where he had different roles within the company. He worked in the Marketing department where he had different responsibilities such as Offer Development Manager or Loyalty Manager for the Mass Market Marketing Division, but he also developed skills as sales coordinator in the SMEs Marketing and Sales division. Before that, Miguel worked has a consultant in DiamondCluster International, developing several projects in Portugal and Spain in the fields of telecommunications and Internet. Miguel has also worked in the industry at Barnices Valentine, as a marketing analyst in Barcelona, Spain.
Miguel started his professional career in 1997, also at Optimus, where he participated in the launch of the 3rd Portuguese mobile operator.
Miguel is graduated in Economics by the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão (ISEG) in Lisbon and speaks Portuguese and Spanish .
