Ken Powell
Ken Powell has over 20 years of experience in the aerospace and automotive industries with consulting experience developing innovative, value-creating growth strategies for clients spanning communications, consumer products, automotive, oil, and food industries in Europe and North America.
His original experience as a systems engineer spanned design and launch of satellites and space probes, technology transfer projects and the development of fuel cell programs in the auto industry, including positions of engineering strategy manager.
Ken works with companies to renew their core businesses and embed a capability to innovate in the core and beyond the core, using the accumulated experience to embed an ability to build core competencies that are a basis for competitive advantage.
Ken believes in the transformative nature of innovation as a catalyst for personal and organizational change. His unique perspective results from his hands-on experience both launching a "point of sale" personalized "by-design" kiosk and order system in a start-up venture and working with clients from several industries in various countries.
Ken helps clients build new perspectives to enable them to leverage their strategic assets and core competencies in beneficial ways, both for customers and the enterprise.
He holds an MSc from the University of Michigan in Systems Science and Engineering building on undergraduate degrees in physics, engineering and history.
