Business Innovation Survey 2008 - Portugal
ABSTRACT: Strategos Iberia launched The Business Innovation Survey 2008 initiative in order to develop a clear point of view of the state of Business Innovation amongst companies operating in Portugal.
The survey, targeting C-Level Executives, includes the opinion of 140 leaders of companies from a variety of sectors. One of the key findings is that there is an increasing focus on innovation as a main driver of growth amongst respondents companies, with 40% of the respondents considering Innovation as a factor of survival for the future. However, despite this focus Portuguese companies have a long way to go in developing a structured approach to this strategic discipline with almost 50% of Senior Executives recognizing that it is imperative to start systematizing Innovation inside their companies.
